Interviews, writing and podcasts

Why?

Three years ago, I started a podcast to try and diversify the voices dominating the podcasting scene. I wanted to elevate women’s voices and challenge existing narratives.

I found myself thinking about the conversations we hear much less often. In 2021, during a bleak midwinter lockdown on maternity leave, I picked up a mic and began recording with an aim to change the conversation.

Conversation Changers will introduce you to new voices, new perspectives and unheard stories because if you want to change the conversation, you have to change who’s having them.

Who?

A bit about me

For over a decade, I’ve loved listening to people and helping them tell the story they want to tell - taking complex ideas and using words to convey a thought provoking story through my career in communications.

I found myself wanting to tell different stories, unheard stories and I had a strong urge to try and diversify the voices being heard in the podcast industry.

I live in the rural hills of Devon with my husband and five year old son, having moved back from the (very flat, but very bike-able) Netherlands where we’d been living.

When I’m not writing and reading, I tend to be found doing a hiit workout, starting the day with an americano (
espresso, hot water and nothing else!), and travelling the world working for one of the organisations that keeps the Internet working.
