Interviews, writing and podcasts

Why?

Four years ago, I started a podcast to try and diversify the voices dominating the podcasting scene. I wanted to elevate women’s voices and challenge existing narratives.

I found myself thinking about the conversations we hear much less often — the voices and stories that rarely make it into the mainstream. That thinking was the spark behind all of this. So I started writing and I started listening.

I firmly believe the world is shaped by the stories we tell, and who gets to tell them matters.

Because if we want to change the conversation, we have to change who’s having it.

Who?

A bit about me

For over a decade, I’ve loved listening to people and helping them tell the story they want to tell through my career in communications - taking complex ideas and using words to convey a thought provoking story.

I found myself wanting to tell different stories, unheard stories and I wanted to try and diversify the voices being heard in the podcast industry.

I live in the rural hills of Devon with my husband and five year old son, having moved back from the (very flat, but very bike-able) Netherlands.

When I’m not writing and reading, I tend to be found doing a hiit workout, starting the day with an americano, and travelling the world working for one of the organisations that keeps the Internet working.
