Here to change

Through writing, interviews & podcasts

Why?

The podcast was born from my sheer frustration at the lack of variety when it came to the voices in podcasts, with the dominance of the same few men in conversation.

I found myself thinking about the conversations we hear much less often.

So in 2021, during a bleak midwinter lockdown, I picked up a mic and began recording, with an aim to change the conversation.

Because if you want to change the conversation, you have to change who’s having them.

What is Conversation Changers?

A podcast where we hear the conversations that change us - interviews with people who are changing the conversation in their community, lives or work.

We also hear the conversations that change us. People share three conversations which have changed their lives.

The blog has evolved from a place of podcast episode transcripts to a platform of articles inspired by the conversations on the podcast and further afield.

Coming soon! Sign up to the newsletter for updates on short documentaries of people who are changing the conversation in their communities.

Who?

A bit about me

For over a decade, I’ve loved listening to people and helping them tell the story they want to tell - taking complex ideas and using words to convey a thought provoking story.

I’m from the rural hills of Devon and recently moved back from living in the (very flat, but very bikeable) Netherlands with my family.

A few random facts about me - I flipping love a hiit workout, I start every day with an americano (
espresso, hot water and nothing else), I’ve been up in a hot air balloon more times than I can count and I travel the world working for the one of the five Regional Internet Registries.
